In Building from the Block Up the study circles develop our capacity in ways needed to serve in the campaigns identified areas. We learn through accessing local knowledge through a series of insightful consultations , the use of multimedia presentations, the relevant building curriculum and the expertise of our regenerative resource network. In each circle we seek to integrate concepts and perspectives from both 'religion and science' to foster our fundamentally sustainable building framework. The objectives of each circle is to enhance understanding through 'team learning', to increase knowledge of relevant context and social conditions, to acquire relevant skills and abilities, and to assist in the development of a service 'attitude'. Each circle will result in the development of proposals or action plans for neighborhood or school building projects. These study circles are open to all community members to participate, but are designed specifically for the neighborhood youth building team. The duration of each study circle is indefinite, yet will definitely occur two times a week and run concurrently with the campaign for a month, and are supported by the Community Building Institute.
